What are your hours and locations?
Our locations offer our full selection of chocolates, pastries and drinks and feature a Sweet Lounge with a unique ambience that is perfect for date nights, studying or simply enjoying the sweet life.

Can I order online?
Absolutely! Our online store features all of our current offerings, seasonal selections and more. While you’re there, sign up for our newsletter to receive updates on all things Cocoa Dolce.
Do I need a reservation to visit a Sweet Lounge?
No reservations needed! Simply stop in, order a coffee or a glass of wine and start enjoying. If you have a large group, check out our Reservation Policy and we’d be happy to help make your experience at Cocoa Dolce as sweet as it can be.
What does a chocolatier do?
A chocolatier is someone who makes confections from chocolate. Becoming a chocolatier involves some of the same processes as does becoming a chef. In general, a chocolatier will have received accreditation from a culinary institute or specialty chocolate school. Often, chocolatiers will also have trained in pastry and confectionary disciplines alongside learning the artistry of chocolate.
The Cocoa Dolce team is made up of chocolatiers, pastry chefs and artisan chefs. Stop by our downtown location and see them in action!
What chocolate do you use?
The Cocoa Dolce goal is to discover and introduce ingredients that meet our uncompromising standards. Callebaut Belgian Chocolate serves as the base for most of our creations. The high-quality cocoa provides amazing versatility for a nearly infinite number of variations and possibilities.

What is artisan chocolate?
Historically, the term ‘artisan’ has indicated a process taking a person from apprenticeship to mastery of their chosen craft. In contemporary usage, artisan chocolate generally refers to handcrafted, small batch chocolate made by chocolatiers with an intimate understanding of the craft of chocolate making.
All of Cocoa Dolce’s chocolates, pastries and macarons are dreamed, developed and handmade in house, making each offering truly artisanal.

Are your products gluten free?
Many of our offerings are gluten free. Our line-up of macarons are gluten free. All of our chocolates are gluten free, with the exception of Blueberry Pie, Key Lime Pie and Cheesecake. Additionally, some of our liquor-infused chocolates may have trace amounts of gluten depending on the type of liquor used.
Do you have allergies?
Our offerings may contain dairy, soy, wheat, eggs, tree nuts and/or peanuts, luster dust (crustacean shellfish). Our chocolates and pastries are produced in a facility that processes with dairy, soy, wheat, eggs, tree nuts and peanuts.
Are there any eggs in your products?
The Crème Brule chocolate contains eggs. In addition, our cookies, scones, muffins, brownies, cake pops and cheesecakes all contain eggs.
Do your chocolates contain alcohol in them?
Several of our offerings contain alcohol as a form of preservative and flavor enhancement but the content is less than 5% of the total product.
How long will my Cocoa Dolce items stay fresh?
We specialize in hand-made confections. Our chocolates are made with no artificial preservatives and use the highest ingredients from around the world. Our confections have a 5-week shelf life. Some of our other products have a longer shelf life and are noted accordingly on their packaging. Our pastries are best consumed fresh but have a 7-day shelf life if stored properly in the refrigerator. Our Customer Service Specialists at our retail locations can help with any additional questions.
Can you ship chocolate in the warmer months? Don’t they melt?
We pay careful attention to the weather when shipping our chocolates. We use insulated packaging and ice packs when we deem necessary during the shipping process.
How long until I receive my order?
We strive to give our customers the freshest products. We work hard to get them to you as quickly as we can. Depending on the timing of your order and where the final destination is, we will ship so your products arrive in their best interest. (see our Shipping Policy for more shipping questions). If an email has been provided at check-out, a tracking number is supplied to check the status of your shipment.
